During this first Science & Wisdom LIVE dialogue, two scientists and two meditative practitioners discuss the topic of ‘Destructive Emotions and Distorted Perceptions’.
Most of us are often troubled by destructive emotions – negative emotions, like fear, anger, worry, jealousy, etc. Yet we do not often talk about how these destructive emotions can be transformed through mindfulness, or mindful actions. This might be due to our distorted perception – both of ourselves, and of the world.
In this first dialogue, Dr. Elena Antonova, Father Laurence Freeman, Dr. Wendy Hasenkamp, and Venerable Geshe Tenzin Namdak, will talk about the difficulty of dealing with destructive emotions in these challenging times, and they’ll relay their own experience and thoughts about what could help with transforming these, so that we can be happier and more positive – even in times of Covid-19.
Please join Dr. Elena Antonova, Father Laurence Freeman, Dr. Wendy Hasenkamp, Geshe Tenzin Namdak and Scott Snibbe on Zoom on the 11th of November, at 7 pm GMT (London time).
